Business Of Construction

Back to Supplier Diversity Home Page. The Business of Construction course combines academic lectures and practical workshops to give emerging, small, minority, and women contractors an opportunity to focus on the business side of construction. The program, jointly sponsored by Washington University and the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, is offered twice a year (fall and spring). The weekly lectures and workshops are held at the John M. Olin School of Business and taught by Washington University professors and industry leaders. Topics include: Business Planning Accounting Marketing Project Management Estimating Labor Relations Legal Issues Bonding and Insurance Tuition is $200 and includes all materials needed.
