The Business of Construction course combines academic lectures and practical workshops to give emerging, small, minority, and women contractors an opportunity to focus on the business side of construction. The program, jointly sponsored by Washington University and the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, is offered twice a year (fall and spring). The weekly lectures and workshops are held at the John M. Olin School of Business and taught by Washington University professors and industry leaders.

  • Estimating
  • Labor Relations
  • Legal Issues
  • Bonding and Insurance

Tuition is $200 and includes all materials needed. Applications will soon be accepted for the Fall, 2004 session. Information can be obtained by contacting:
